What a weekend Melbourne delivered for the Morey’s Tours NFL trip!
With guests travelling from Hobart, Launceston, Burnie and Adelaide, the group arrived in Melbourne ready for a huge few days centred around one of the most anticipated sporting events of the year — the LA Rams v San Francisco 49ers at the MCG.
The weekend officially kicked off on Thursday evening with our exclusive Morey’s Tours Kick-Off Drinks at The Boatbuilders Yard. Guests came together for drinks, food, music and plenty of NFL excitement as the countdown to game day began.
Friday was all about the main event! The group made their way to the MCG to experience the NFL live in Melbourne, watching the LA Rams and San Francisco 49ers go head-to-head on one of Australia’s most iconic sporting stages. The atmosphere around the MCG was incredible and it was certainly an experience to remember.
Saturday gave everyone the chance to enjoy Melbourne their own way. Some guests headed off for a day at the races at Flemington, while another group took on the Gin & Whiskey Tour — which proved to be a massive hit! We even received some fantastic feedback from the tour host about what a fun group they were, with the Apple Pie Moonshine becoming a particular favourite. Others took the opportunity to explore Melbourne and enjoy some well-earned downtime after a massive game day.
By Sunday it was time to head home after an action-packed few days away.
All in all, the weekend was a huge success filled with NFL action, great food and drinks, racing, plenty of laughs and an awesome group of people. Bringing everyone together for such a unique sporting event was incredibly special, and we loved being able to take care of the details so our guests could simply enjoy the experience.
