Morey’s Tours ANZAC Day Trip
What a weekend! This year, Morey’s Tours proudly took 112 guests to Melbourne for an unforgettable ANZAC Day experience.
The trip kicked off at Hobart Airport, where it almost felt like we had our own Morey’s Tours flight filled with excited clients ready for a huge few days away. After a smooth check-in at Citadines on Bourke, the group headed to welcome drinks at Brewmanity with AFL legend David Neitz — and safe to say there were a few sore heads the next morning!
The weekend continued with a fantastic day at the races in Werribee, with plenty of laughs, high vibes, and the highlight of visiting the race caller’s box with Matt Reid. While some guests headed to the footy, others enjoyed exploring Melbourne’s laneways, bars, shopping, and restaurants.
Then came the main event — ANZAC Day at the MCG. After a pre-game function at St Andrews Beach Brewery, the group arrived pumped for the game. But when the Last Post began and the crowd of more than 90,000 fell silent, the atmosphere inside the MCG was something truly special and a moment many of us will never forget.
The weekend finished on a high, with smiling faces all around and many guests are already eager to book again for next year. Experiences like these are exactly why we love what we do at Morey’s Tours
